EDID settings have various options to suit either Widescreen or PC resolutions.
The unit can be set to Mix mode which will combine the EDID settings of the display devices with the lowest compatible video resolution.
Ideal for multiple computer monitor applications.  When connected between the computer and a second or third monitor, it will ensure that computers graphics cards will not change PC desktop settings when an extra PC display is turned off or changes its input.   Other EDID options include the usual settings for 4K and 1080p resolutions for Widescreen 16:9 format displays, along with Pass Through and Input 1 Read only modes.
