FieldCast PTZ Monk

Do you want to go remote with your high end PTZ cameras and really make use of the strength of their uncompressed SDI output? And do you also want to power them remotely, using the same cable that run the control data and the video signal?

Fiber Dock One, in combination with up to four PTZ Monk units, can achieve all of this using the potential of Fieldcast's flexible fyber optic hybrid cable. The system offers a 1Gb ethernet network over fiber, so you can connect your PTZ controller to Fiber Dock One and each PTZ camera to its own PTZ Monk. The SDI output of the camrea will be fiber converted by PTZ Monk, be run over the cable and converted back by Fiber Dock One, giving you a full, unchanged SDI quality output.

Fiber Dock One runs 24VDC power over each of its four channels, and PTZ Monk converts it back to stable 12VDC output to feed your camera.
