The GefenTV Home Theater Scaler Pro supports one component source with analog audio, one composite or S-video source with analog audio, and two HDMI sources with embedded or external digital audio. The analog audio from the analog sources is digitized and output to the HDMI connection as well as the digital audio outputs. In addition to this, the HDMI inputs have separate digital audio inputs. So you can use DVI sources and separate digital audio, and the GefenTV Home Theater Scaler Pro will embed the audio into the HDMI output as well as into the digital audio outputs.
How It Works
Connect AV source(s) to the GefenTV Home Theater Scaler Pro with appropriate input cables. Connect an HD display or projector to the GefenTV Home Theater Scaler Pro's HDMI output connector. Plug in the GefenTV Home Theater Scaler Pro power supply, and a beautiful Hi-Def picture will appear on the HD display. Easy-to-use on-screen menus, accessible using the IR remote control, allow effortless setup and image adjustment to accommodate different viewing modes and screen sizes.

The GefenTV High-Definition Scaler allows you to upscale and switch your standard definition or high definition component sources to resolutions up to 1080p. Anything from set-top boxes, DVD players to the next generation of gaming consoles including the Xbox 360 and PS3 can be plugged into the GefenTV High-Definition Scaler.
The GefenTV High-Definition Scaler supports two component sources and one DVI source all with digital TOSlink and analog audio inputs. The analog audio inputs will be outputted as analog audio and the digital TOSlink audio inputs will be outputted as digital TOSlink audio.
Easy to use on-screen menus accessible through the IR remote control allow for effortless setup and image adjustment to accommodate different viewing modes and screen sizes.

Watch HDMI Video on your Composite or S-Video System -- with Audio
The new GefenTV HDMI to Composite Scaler lets you transform HDMI video in resolutions from 480p to 1080p into Composite video or S-Video format, properly sized to view optimally on your display.
How It Works
Simply connect your HDMI video source to the HDMI input jack of the GefenTV HDMI to Composite Scaler. Connect your Composite or S-Video display cable to the correct video output jack on the Scaler's rear panel. RCA-type analog audio output jacks and Coaxial S/PDIF digital audio output jacks allow for the connection of an audio receiver or other device to receive the audio signal embedded in the HDMI signal. Power-cycle all connected components. You will then have HDMI video playing on your Composite or S-Video display with simultaneous audio output.
Note: This device does NOT convert HDCP. This device supports both NTSC and PAL video standards. This device maintains the aspect ratio of the original signal.
The main purpose for the GTV-HDMI-2-COMPSVID is to downscale high definition video to standard definition NTSC / PAL, from digital to analog TV signals. The GTV-HDMI-2-COMPSVID does not accept standard-resolution 15KHz (Horizontal Frequency) video signals as input (i.e. 480i and 576i resolutions). Source devices operating at resolutions of 480i / 576i will very likely have analog outputs which can be used to directly connect to display devices in these cases.
Transform Composite or S-Video into crisp, scaled HDMI video
The GefenTV Composite to HDMI Scaler takes either Composite Video or S-Video as input and converts it to digital HDMI video, then scales it up to a maximum output of 1080p resolution (or 1920x1200 when used with a computer monitor).
How It Works
Simply plug in your Composite or S-Video video source to its input jack on the rear of the Scaler. The Scaler will automatically detect the video frequency and resolution of the source signal, then convert that picture to a digital HDMI video signal. You will then choose the best output resolution and viewing format of the picture on your HDTV using the buttons on the front of the Scaler.
