The Gefen Wireless VGA Extender LR enables a VGA signal to be sent up to 30 metres without any connecting cables. The send and receive units have three transmitting/receiving aerials in order to allow the unit to work through walls (up to a resolution of 1280x1024).

It uses well proven 2.4GHz 802.11 wireless network technology and can set to use any of 4 channels to minimize interference with other devices.
A Plug-and-Play Solution
No special configuration is necessary with the Gefen Wireless VGA Extender LR. Simply plug in the external 12v power supplies to the send and the receiver units, and confirm the device is operational by inspecting the status LEDs on both units. LEDs indicate which input source is active and the send and receiver wireless status.

The Sender unit has three connector options: VGA, Component, S-Video and Composite Video. The source can be selected by pressing the Source Selector button on the front panel of either the Sender unit or the Receiver unit.

Audio can be transmitted along with the video signal and is connected via the 3.5mm stereo jacks.

Note: 1080i and 1080p signals are down scaled to be transmitted at 1280x720.

1. CVBS : NTSC / PAL / SECAM: 480i@60Hz, 576i@50Hz

2. S-Video : NTSC / PAL / SECAM: 480i@60Hz, 576i@50Hz

3. Y/Pb/Pr : 480i/p@60Hz, 576i/p@50Hz , 720p@50/60Hz, 1080i/p@50/60Hz.

4. VGA : 640x480@60Hz, 800X600@60Hz, 1024X768@60Hz, 1280X768@60Hz, 1280X1024@60Hz

Output Formats & Frequencies:

1. Y/Pb/Pr: 480p@60Hz, 576p@50Hz, 720p@60Hz

2. VGA: 640x480@@60Hz, 800X600@60Hz, 1024X768@60Hz, 1280X768@60Hz, 1280X1024@60Hz

Some resolutions will have half the usual frame rate due to bandwidth considerations. These include Y/Pb/Pr resolutions of 720p or above and all VGA resolutions.
